Deon Ridley
A Virginia native, began his career at the early age of 16 and after extensive years of professional dance training and schooling earned countless accolades nationally and internationally. Deon imprinted his professional dance career when he took stage ON BROADWAY and shined through the bright lights of New York City. His Broadway credits include featured dancer and lead for the national and international touring productions of Cats (Hamburg, Germany), Damn Yankees, Fame the Musical, The Lion King Broadway, The Music Man, and A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden starring Frank Langella.
Deon's acclaimed success continued, when he was personally selected to perform with numerous recording artists such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Mya, Whitney Houston, Destiny's Child, Jill Scott, Al Jarreau, Jackson 5, Monica, Missy Elliott, Deborah Cox, and Gloria Gaynor. His televison credits include The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight's Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Lewis Telethon, and Ellen just to name a few.
With all this under his belt, Deon's most recent career achievement was being recruited to star as lead dancer and dance captain for "A New Day" starring Celine Dion on the Las Vegas strip, which was a ground breaking show stopping spectacle at Caesars Palace's Coliseum Theatre, directed by Franco Dragone. Critics considered this show to be the most memorable show experience to audiences all around the world, which has "changed the face of entertainment". Oprah Winfrey stated, "The most amazing show I have ever seen" the New York Times quoted, "The show goes out of its way not to defy expectations but to exceed them" and Times Magazine printed, "The dancers are electric."
